Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan is one of the largest academic centres in Poland, ranked as a 3rd best university in Poland. The University, founded in 1919, currently employs nearly 3,000 teaching staff, including 357 tenured professors, 482 AMU professors and 1,519 doctors and senior lecturers. The university has 15 faculties and 50 study programs. AMU is a member of many Universities Network.

  • AMU Institute of Cultural Studies

Founded in 1978, Institute of Cultural Studies has nearly forty years of experience in research on culture and has educated generations of graduates who successfully implement their knowledge and skills in such fields as artistic institutions management, media, business, entrepreneurship and journalism. Among a vast range of academic paths there are MA in Cultural Studies - Culture and Pubic Sphere (in PL) and MA in Cultural Studies - Intercultural Communication (in EN).

  • ROK AMU Culture Observatory

The centre was founded in 2010 as a continuation of the Cultural Policy research group seated at the AMU Institute of Cultural Studies. Since then, ROK AMU Culture Observatory did under its supervision over 35 research and training projects funded from national grants in the field of cultural policies, cultural education, memory policies and cultural heritage management, culture-led city planning, intergenerational transmission of culture - senior citizens and cultural activities, culture and development, local cultural communities, cultural festivals as intangible heritage.
